Rains in Flagstaff

The real monsoon rains finally fell over the Flagstaff area today.  Depending on which part of town you were  in up to an inch of rain graced the area today and I say graced because this finally puts a big damper on the forest fire danger we've all lived with for the last 6 or 8 weeks.  The forest behind our location here is open for hiking again!

In the accompanying image, that's a great sunset not fire!

The property backs up to a national forest for our beloved four-legged friends to run free. The most mention-able part of our experience was the breakfast. It was healthy, wholesome and organic. We ate eggs laid that morning from the chickens right outside the studio."
