A big lenticular with the classic shape developed east and north of Mt. Elden before this latest storm system moved through our area. A wet weekend it was but with little or no snow accumulation here at 7000 ft. We had honeymooners in the Suite over the weekend and I think they actually enjoyed the cozy conditions.

So much snow fell that we thought it a good idea to shovel off the roof. Ice dams on roofs can be a problem after big snowfalls. We only shoveled the north facing side as the south side has good sun exposure. In addition we have heat tape along the edge of the roof and in the gutters.
